With the increasing needs of the Internet, people need to transmit data in the most secure way and for the sake of privacy, security protocols have been introduced. The security protocols are very important because there may be shortcomings in connection not because of problems with cryptographic algorithms, but the infrastructure which the connection is based on. The Yahalom protocol is one of the secure authentication protocols which is widely used to provide privacy and authentication.

Results

The Yahalom protocol is improved by changing the message and adding a Hand Shake message.

The results showed that the protocol can resist against replication and tampering attacks can be eliminated. The analysis of the protocol agreement for the key is well and the results will indicate that the key distributed by the server will remain secure. By the help of the Scyther security evaluation tool, this Improvement will be measured.
